A two day Work Shop organized by department of MBA in association with NISM on “Portfolio Management” on 22nd& 23rd December,2022. Dr.S.Srinivasa Rao acted as a resource person for the program. He explained about the fundamentals of investment, portfolio development, return analysis etc., to students.

A One day Seminar on “IPR” for Students and Faculty

Department of MBA in association with R& D of RPRA arranged a one day Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights” for MBA Students and Faculty       Members of RPRA. Dr. E.Vamsidhar, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, KL University, Guntur was the resource person of the seminar. The seminar was organized by R&D to promote innovation and entrepreneurship at the Department level on 27th December 2017.

This one day seminar aims to organise for the students & staff members in order to understand the Intellectual Property Rights. The programme gives awareness about IPR contents and used in various business practices.

The following topics were covered in the seminar:

  1. Introduction to IPR – IP is Everywhere
  2. Innovation & Patents
  3. Copyright & Related Rights
  4. Branding & Trademarks
  5. Industrial Designs
  6. Other IPs – Geographical Indications, Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout Design, Plant Variety, Trade Secrets
  7. Importance & Protection of IP – Recognize and Respect your own IP and that of others’

 

Total 105 Faculty members and Students, 05 Faculty members of MBA department and 100 students of MBA attended the session. R&D Cell got support, guidance and motivation from Department HoD and faculty members, to make this seminar successful. Committee Head & Members, Research and Development took efforts to conduct this seminar smoothly in the institute.
