Library Rules And Regulations :

    • Identity Card is mandatory to enter the library
    • Write your name and do signature in the register when you enter
    • Strict discipline must be maintained
    • No discussions are permitted and personal belongings are also not allowed inside of the library
    • Textbooks, printed materials and borrowed books are not accepted in the library
    • Using Mobile phonesand Electronic devices  are strictly prohibited

     

    • Show the books and other materials at the checking counter which are borrowed from the library
    • The librarian may recall the member at any time for returning the material
    • Edible items are forbidden

     

    Circulation Issue System: 

    Books will be issued only after presenting the student ID card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.

    Overdue Charges: 

    Materials borrowed from the library should be returned on or before the due date stamped, if returned late, the fine will be charged for the late period.

    Book Lost: 

    If the books are lost, then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.

     

    No dues Certificate: 

    Each student shall obtain ‘No dues’ certificate from the library after returning all the books issued

    Care of Library Books: 

    Students are advised to handle the books/ Journal carefully. Marking with pencil , writing, highlighting , tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In such cases reader shall be held responsible unless these are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issue.

     

    E-access Rules

    There are some restrictions on access and downloading of licensed e-Resources. The         e-Resources are licensed for the non-profit educational use of the Institute. Copyright law governs use of these e- Resources.

     

    The following things are strictly prohibited:

    • Systematic downloading, distributing, or retaining substantial portions.
    • Forwarding electronic versions of articles or the use of articles for commercial purposes.
    • Strictly prohibited to download entire journal, databases or an entire e-book.
