“IGNITING INDIA’S JOURNEY TO 2047: Vision of a Developed India”: Organizing Yuva Manthan Experiential Learning programmes at institutions under the purview of Department of Higher Education -Regarding

Dear Madam/Sir,

Greetings from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

In a momentous address on the 76th Independence Day, Hon’ble Prime minister Shri narendra Modi ignited the spirit of a resurgent India by introducing ‘Panch Prans’—a set of lifeblood resolutions that will propel the nation towards becoming a developed country by the monumental year of 2047. In this context, you would agree that it is necessary that the youth of the country understand the context, content and spirit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message.

Marching forward with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to make India a developed Nation by 2047, Yuvamanthan has taken an initiative to engage with Youth through YuvaManthan Experiential Learning Programmes like Model United Nations, Youth Parliament and Hackathon. Yuvamanthan brings its vision to life through a series of engaging events that serve as crucibles of learning and collaboration. These events are designed to foster creativity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to negotiate, providing a platform for the youth to learn life-long transferable skills in students.

Earlier this year Yuvamanthan took upon itself to make G20 a Janbhagidari Initiative as envisaged by our Hon’ble Prime Minister and created Yuvamanthan ModelG20. We collaborate with Y20 India and worked with Ministry of Education, GOI / Ministry of Ayush, GOI / NESTS Under Ministry of Tribal Affairs / CCRT under Ministry of Culture, GOI / Mission Life at Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, GOI / NSS at Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, GOI / University Grants Commission/ Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatana/ Army Welfare Education Society / Delhi University / 16 States and many such organisations in conducting such programmes at Education Institutions connected to them. They have
completed more than 1000 programmes to date and are on course to conduct 5000 programmes amongst youth by November 2023. The Ministry of Education is the nodal authority on education for the country and millions of Youth are attached to institutions affiliated to the ministry. In this context, We wish to annually organise Yuvamanthan Model Nation (YMUN), Yuvamanthan Hackathon, YuvaManthan Youth Parliament and other such programs catering to different age group of students on the theme: IGNITING INDIA’S JOURNEY TO 2047: VISION OF A DEVELOPED INDIA. The Call of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Panch Pran shall be widely circulated among the youth. They shall take the Panch Pran Pledge while understanding the significance and committing themselves to contribute towards India’s growth story in the age of Amrit/Kartavya Kaal. The programs are designed keeping in mind the focus on Experiential learning as envisaged by National Education Policy 2020.
